Agriculture Ministry to present price stabilization steps Dec 14

MOSCOW, Dec 11 (PRIME) -- The government and business are working on measures to stabilize prices of the socially important food and will present them on December 14, Agriculture Minister Dmitry Patrushev said on Friday.

"The Agriculture Ministry with the industry representatives and interested agencies are working on a set of necessary solutions which will help stabilize the price situation for the key, socially important products on orders by the country authorities," Patrushev said.

On Wednesday, President Vladimir Putin criticized the government for sugar, sunflower seed oil, bread and flour price surge. He said this was an attempt to set the prices on the Russian market at a global level.
